Very nice restaurant, loved it! Stopped by here for some breakfast food today. The building is in good shape on the exterior , and on the inside as well. They keep their restaurant nice and neat. Alot of warm colors and landscape paintings found within. Nice cozy place to stop in and have some breakfast or lunch. the service here was topnotch, the waitress Nicole did a great job taking our order as well as the accuracy of our order when the food came out. We didn't have to ask for anything , she already was on top of it. Today we tried their " pulled pork sandwich , side of fries with coleslaw" , " biscuits and gravy" , " stuffed french toast", " Cuban sandwich with potato chips" The food came out promptly and delicious. The cook did such a great job with the food, thanks Maxi's for the great experience. We would love to stop by again and try something else on your menu if in the area. My oh my!! Breakfast....elevated! Diner food with a twist. Incredible selection, fresh, local ingredients. Fast and friendly service! Huge portions!
I'm VERY picky about my home fries. When I say this, I mean it- I have never had home fries as good as these. Seasoning was top teir, they were so crispy and delicious. The banana bread French toast was soooo good, super filling and flavorful. Had notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. The bacon was a crispy, with a thicker cut. The pancakes had awesome flavor but could have been fluffier for me, personally. But the flavor made up for it. The hot cider hit the spot! Fresh and steaming.
Fantastic Vermont diner. The coffee is some of the best diner coffee I’ve had. The home fries are world class here. Truly outstanding. Great service. Great prices. Great local gem!
We rarely go out to eat anymore because prices have gotten out of hand & most places have terrible service. This past winter we went to Maxis for a late breakfast and enjoyed it. We have enjoyed it so much, that we have been going regularly. The service is great, the food is tasty, & the place is clean. The prices are reasonable. We will continue to keep going there.
We have been to Maxi’s a few times now and every time it’s been delicious! The Denver omelette and spinach scramble are amazing. The service is great, always very friendly and attentive even when they are very busy. We love this place for breakfast!
This place is really good! Always long lines out the door! For good reason. The staff works fast and do the best they can. They are always very friendly. The food is tasty. Second time going and will probably return but should probably come early because of how busy it is. I don't mind waiting for good food though.
Great brunch spot in Waterbury! It has a nice classic American charm! There was a little bit of a wait since they were quite busy. They have bar seating options as well as table seating. We ordered the spinach omelette and sweet potato burger. They were very good and definitely hit the spot. Service was fast and friendly, pricing is good.
